I have no clue where this death certificate came from. We've recently been given several historical documents and some genealogical material, and I think maybe this was in some of it. As I said, I had never seen it before. Anyway, it's a clear copy (for what it's worth); I'll scan it and send to you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Denise Wells" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2008 7:52 PM Subject: Re: [GAEMANUE] FW: Jane FAIRCLOTH and Will FAIRCLOTH/GOFF > Olivia, > > Thanks for responding. Thanks, Olivia, I'll look for the scan you are sending. I just went back to the Faircloth photos that Brenda Gruenewald sent a few years ago. The typed caption on one says, "Annie Jane Coleman-Godwin-Faircloth (also known Zannie Simmons). B-1844 in NC." There is a handwritten X over that caption. Then, in hand-writing, "Gracy Jane - She was known as "Zannie" - her nickname - according to great granddaughter, Lori." Then, also in handwriting, "might be Annie Jane." Lori is in the Youngblood line. I do not have her email address so have never been able to communicate with her directly. The caption for the younger lady's photo says in type, "Not sure of this picture. Could be one of Annie Jane's children from a previous marriage (she had at least 2 that we know of) or a sister." There is a handwritten X over that caption, as well. I'm still thinking that Simmons may have been the 5th husband...
