Olivia Mr. Morris Faircloth, 73 Published: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 4:09 PM EST Mr. Morris Faircloth, age 73, of Gloverville, SC, died on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at the University Hospital in Augusta after a brief illness. Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the Ebenezer Methodist Church with Rev. Clarence Thompson, Rev. Terry Taylor and Rev. Ronnie Youngblood officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Carl Roghelia, Danny Wayne Faircloth, Lamar Faircloth, Jimmy Faircloth, David Faircloth and Rev. Ronnie Youngblood. Mr. Faircloth was born and raised in Emanuel County, the son of the late James Morris "Tinker" Faircloth and Cynthia Edenfield Faircloth. He had lived in Augusta for the past 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myzelle Martin Faircloth; two sons, Larry Faircloth and Douglas Faircloth; one sister; Ida Mae Farmer; four brothers, his twin James Faircloth, Robbie Lee Faircloth, Gordon Faircloth and Hilton Faircloth. Survivors include his companion, Lula (Polly) Reese of Hephzibah; her four daughters, Linda Williams, Betty Collins, Hilda Walden and Anita Gailfoyle all of Hephzibah; a dedicated niece and nephew, Rebecca and Carl Roghelia of Swainsboro; 10 Nieces, 10 Nephews and a host of family and friends.
