    3. Wes, I can't find a thing about Elizabeth Sharpe. Do you know where they were married, and who her parents were? Thanks for sending this. 3. Mike, The marriage date comes from Elizabeth' civil war pension claim. Her maiden name came for her daughter Jane Elizabeth Poythress' death certificate. I beleive she was the daughter of Howell and Lydia Connor Sharpe of Emanuel County. Their know son Lewis T. Sharpe moved to Screven & Bulloch counties as did Elizabeth after John Thomas' death. Both Elizabeth Sharpe Hutchinson and Lewis T. Sharpe had children named Lydia, and Margaret.. These are all just speculation right now. Howell Sharpe was listed on the 1850 Emanuel county Georgia census living with Nathan Rowland b. 1780 and his young 2nd. wife Sarah ? b. 1824. They also had a daughter named Lydia. so it is possible that Sarah Rowland was also the daughter of Howell sharpe. Lewis T. Sharpe was living next door.
