Mike, I just received my copy of Confederate graves of Emanuel county, yesterday. I am very impressed, you did a great job. This book provides alot of valuable information. In the beginning ofthe book you talked about how much easier it is now with the internet to research. You are so right. I am well aware of the those hardships. I have found out so much information since the technology has advanced. An example is in my book Norristown Folks vol. 1 (1988), I put John Thomas Hutcheson as the son of John Meredith Hutcheson. since Then after close investigation I found I was wrong. He was indeed the son Thomas Hutcheson and his first wife, and the twin to Lewis Hutcheson. John Thomas Married Elizabeth Sharpe on 2/25/1847. they are found in the 1850 Leon county, florida census. The 1830 Emanuel county always showed another male child, The court papers where Thomas hutcheson and his hiers sued William Goff, lists him and his wife. I missed all this, and printed it. john thomas and Elizabeth's children were; Margaret, hiram, vianna Lydia, James Lewis, thomas ,sarah, Georgianne, and Jane Elizabeth. john Thomas hutcheson and family moved back to Georgia and was found on the 1860 Johnson county census, while John hutcheson who married Nancy Fulford, and who was the son of John Meredith was listed in Laurens county.
