Carol: I have a problem here. My file is possibly mixed up. I have a John G. Hall, b. November 15, 1861; d. September 24, 1944. He married Sarah Powell on October 19, 1890, Emanuel Co. She was b. February 23, 1874; d. May 16, 1950. I don't have her parents. They're both buried at Pinecrest in Vidalia. Children: Fala B., b. January 1892; m. Dora Lee Findley Rufus S., b. February 1894; m. Lillian S. ___ Almedia, b. February 16, 1896; Benjamin Franklin "Bennie" Palmer Frank, b. February 21, 1898; m. Sallie ___ Cassie, b. 1901 Rubie, b. 1903 Sudie, b. 1905 Daniel Grover "Dud", b. May 21, 1908; m. Lizzie Evans BUT! I have this John G. Hall as the son of Travis Francis Hall and Martha Ann Moore. I do have a John G. Hall, b. 1864, as a son of Daniel Green Hall and Mary Jane Durden; no further information. Would appreciate any help in getting this straight if I have it wrong. Olivia, I don't have a John Hall as a son of Travis, and I don't see one on the 1860 or 1870 census for his family, so I'm thinking yours who married Sarah Powell must be the same John G. Hall who was Daniel Green Hall's son. I am not certain as to the year of birth - I have Nov 15 1863. Those are the children I have for John G Hall - except is it Cassie or Carrie? And I also have Eudine and Nexie. Rubie is perhaps spelled Ruby. Anyone who can help? Olivia,thanks for the info.
