We're all cousins, it seems. Samuel is my ggg-grandfather. (Nora Lee McKenzie is my grandmother.) I have a copy of the census records. I looked at the 1850 from Muscogee County, which is the one I think you're talking about. The family listed above Samuel and Louisiana is Thomas Willis, age 69. His wife's name is Susannah, age 67. There are two other people in the household--Lucinda J Cobb, 19, and Daniel J John., 11. Thomas and Susannah are listed as being born in North Carolina, Lucinda and Daniel in Houston Co. I'd be very interested to know why you believe this is Louisiana's family. Is there family legend to indicate this, maybe?
