Delores Hall Thompson's nephew also passed away. Son of Delores' brother Kenneth Hall. Thought you might want to know. Charles Kenneth Hall, Jr. 59 of Swainsboro passed away at his residence Saturday, April 17, 2010. Mr. Hall was born June 24, 1950 to the late Charles Kenneth Hall, Sr and Martha Ruby Coleman. Mr Hall has lived in Emanuel County all of his life. He was employed at Handi House and Methodist by faith. Mr. Hall was preceeded in death by one brother, Cooper Hall. Memorial services will be held for Mr. Hall Sunday afternoon April 25, 2010 at 2:00P.M.in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery in Modoc, GA. Thanks, Carol. I really appreciate you taking the time to look Scotts Corner up. I found the same information when I looked online. I mapped it with Google Maps and noticed that when Magruder Rd. crosses HWY 56 the road name changes to Scott Store Rd. There must not be any recorded history, or the GA Archives would have told me. The library in Burke County never answered my email. I didn't want to give up without asking the list in case someone familiar with the area has some information. I'm looking for the history of Scotts Corner, about 7 miles or so north of Midville. I've looked online, emailed the GA Archives and a library in Burke County, with no luck. Can someone on the list can tell me about anything about it? Thanks, Yvonne Scott
