I found a 1910 article in the Macon Daily Telegraph about Thomas E. Scott. It's a nice sketch of his life and says he was the son of Fleming Scott who moved from SC to Emanuel County. While browsing online in some historical newspapers I found 2 articles pertaining to Emanuel County. 1. Dec. 12, 1909 - Remarkable Families of Emanuel County Names mentioned: Williamson, Phillips, Moore, Durden, Youmans, Barwick 2. Dec. 22, 1912 - Article on Stillmore Names mentioned: Partin, Williamson, Brown, Willis, Brantley, Brinson, Evans, Larsen, Atkinson, Graham, Edinfield, Warren I saved the pages for both articles in .pdf format and will be glad to email them to anyone who wants them.
