William sent me a copy of the index in 2002. The index is 144 pages long--names are single spaced, so would be very cumbersome to e-mail.. Don't think I kept it on disk as I ran a hard copy and my computer crashed after that. I'll look and see if I can locate it on one of my floppies and get back to you. Anita.
Another reocord: Emanuel County, Ga. Guardian Bonds 1829, Wm. and J.R. Daniell appointed guardian of Kindrick Green Hayslip, orphan of Randall G. Hayslip I feel sure this is my Daniell bunch as I find records in Jefferson and Emanuel Co. pertaining to the same family. I am interested in anything anyone has on the Hayslip family. They seemed to around my Daniell and Green bunch often. Dawn
Some researchers have that Delaney Hayslip Cross married William B. Daniell after the death of Sardis. But it may have been Randall Daniell that she married, I have been working on this. Will pull out my notes tonight. BTW...Carol, This Hayslip family runs directly into the Green family from NC to Ga. Dawn
Some of my notes, anyone have any info or comments on this. Charles Edward Wildes wrote a book called Once Upon a Time in Tattnall County, Georgia. William L. Boulineau compiled an all name index for it. If anyone on the list knows how to obtain a copy of the index, would you please send the information to Carol Haney <carol@nabc.com> and copy me. Thanks. Clyde Hooks
Does anyone know where I can find a tax list since there was no census (that I can find) in 1795 and 1796 for Nathan Brewton in Screven Co., GA....or any information on his family..by 1798 he was in tattnall but I am not sure when he left or what he was doing while in Screven. I just know that 2 children were born there..1895 and 1896. Thanks. Carol Forney
