Searching for the descendants of ANGUS McCURRY, whose Last Will & Testament, was recorded and dated September 6, 1841 in Elbert County, Georgia. My great-great-grandmother FLORA (McCURRY) HAYNES, b. 1808 in Elbert County - d. after 1870, probably Monroe County, Georgia was one of his ten children. Angus McCurry identified Flora (McCurry) Haynes, as one of his daughters to whom he bequeathed a sum of money. Flora was married to CHARLES W. HAYNES in 1833 in Elbert County. They moved to Monroe County in about 1840. I have the complete list of Angus McCurry's ten McCurry children to whom he bequeathed an inheritance.
