William ALSTON (b. 25 Dec 1736) the son of Solomon and Nancy Alston, was married to his cousin, Charity Alston, daughter of James and Christian Alston. They settled in Elbert Co., GA where William Alston died in 1810. His widow died in 1823. They had the following children: Ann, Christian, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, George, Solomon, William, Peter, and James.
