In 1855, a Mrs. Mary Christian married a Thomas Staples in Elbert County, but I can't find anything about that particular Thomas Staples in the superduperArdieBrown Staples file. There are umpteen Mary Christian marriages in the Elbert County book, but only two references to Marys marrying men named Christian, and neither seems to be in the right time bracket. Deanna
