I am searching for information on brothers James (b 1790-1800) & William (b 1800-1810) ANDERSON, born in GA. James married Bathsheba HIGHTOWER 1818 in Elbert Co, GA. William married Bathsheba's sister, Martha HIGHTOWER, place unknown. By the mid-1820's the families had migrated to Autauga Co, AL where William ANDERSON died 1835. James ANDERSON removed in the mid-1830's to Lauderdale Co, MS. He is also listed in Kemper Co, MS on the 1837 State Census and probably lived very close to the four corners where Kemper, Lauderdale, Newton & Neshoba counties are closest. Per Autauga Co, AL estate records of Bathsheba's grandfather William HIGHTOWER, the children of James ANDERSON & Bathsheba HIGHTOWER were: William, Elizabeth, Martha, Jane, Eliza, & Temperance. Per the Lauderdale Co, MS guardianship documents (copies filed in Autauga Co, AL) where James obtained custody of the deceased William's children, children of William ANDERSON were: Susan, Thomas, Roseanna & George.
