They had: 2.Thomas Jones, b. 1781, d.1840, sheriff of Elbert Co. Married 12 April 1815 Eliza M. Darricotte, b. 27 Nov. 1796, d. 1857. They had: 3.Edwin A. Jones, b.2 Dec 1824, d. 1866-1867. Married 1848 Cornelia Jane Blackwell (daughter of Joseph H. Blackwell & Elizabeth Mcgehee) b. 1796, d. 1871. They had: 4.Robert Hester Jones, b.1854 in Elberton GA, d. 1922 in Bowie Co. TX. Married Eliza Jane Merchant in Bowie Co. TX. We would like to correspond with anyone who is researching these lines. Most of my info came from "History of Elbert Co., Georgia" by John H. McIntosh.
