    3. Mona, I have a copy of William Alexander's will recorded 12 June 1806. The only children he mentions by name are James, Elijah, John & George. He leaves most everything to his wife Nancy until the youngest of her children by him ( William) reaches 16 years. It is to then be sold and divided between all of his children. In 1812, 1813, 1815 Elbert Co. court returns, Standley Jones, John, George and Nancy Alexander, William Page, Willis Rucker, Barden Rucker, Reuben Cleveland, James Alexander, Edmund Alexander and Peter Alexander, legatees received in full for all claims. I assume at this point the youngest child had turned 16. Standley Jones, William Page, Willis Rucker and Barden Rucker, and Reuben Cleveland were all married to Alexander women. We can assume that they were daughters of William Alexander since the men were not mentioned in the will. They would be receiving their wives portion of the estate. William probably had at least 2 wives, Frances Rucker and Nancy ?. Nancy H. Morgan Researching: Teasley, Brown, McCurry, Hunt in VA, NC, GA, TN
