Have not seen anything on the list with respect to the following so thought I would throw it out. The daily newspaper, The Anderson Independent-Mail, of Anderson, SC, has started publishing obits on a daily basis on their web site. It also appears that they have started a "day one forward" database of obits. I had nothing in particular for use in checking, but a couple of wild surname searches turned up records from the early January, 2000 time frame. The web address is http://www.andersonsc.com . In the left panel, under Services is an obituary pick that will take you to the current obit listing. There will be another "search" option show up also. Dean Craft w4ihk@mindspring.com
