Mary LEWIS was my g-g-g-g-grandmother. She married John MOORE about 1790 and had several children (believed to include Agnes, Elijah, Frances, Hester, Sarah [Sally], Lewis, Mary, and Fanny). Many of the children were said to have been born in Elbert County. Daughter Sarah (1792-1847) married John FORTSON in 1814. Mary's parents are thought to be Phillip and Sarah.
