Does anyone know where to find the Tax Lists with descriptions of what the taxes were being paid on? The area that I am looking for would fall into either Franklin, Elbert and maybe Wilkes Co, GA. 1790's to 1820 time frame. Does anyone know if most or maybe all the records for Ga before latter 1800's were moved to the Archives in Atlanta? If you know or can direct me to someone who would know, I'd be very greatful.
