Jim Lee referred to two books, John H. McIntosh's History of Elbert County, 1790--1935 and Ann Holloman's book on Elbert County Marriages, 1805--1913. I have searched the Internet for a source for these books but all I could find were other people looking for the books. Does anyone have copies of the books that would be willing to look for entries for the family that I am looking for?? As best I have been able to determine, there were three Simeon Hendersons in Elbert Co. Ga at the same time. There seems to be a good bit of information about two of the Simeons but not about my ggggrandfather. My Simeon married Bridget Carroll Heard March 6, 1817 in Elbert Co. Ga. They had at least one son William H. Crawford Henderson, born 1825. Simeon died in Georgia and "Bridget moved to Mississippi with her children" I have all kinds of information about her and her family but not Simeon. Thanks Bill Baker
