Was Peter the son of William Alexander and Frances Rucker, who married in 1782? What was Elizabeth's surname? I believe that this Alexander family was related to my Cleveland family (Roger Cleveland m. Dorcus ?Alexander) who came from England and settled in Old Rappanock Co VA in 1645. This part of VA later was later divided into Spotsylvania, Essex and Orange Counties. Any help appericated. Thanks so much, Grace S.
