    3. Ken, I don't know much but you would need to remember that depending on the time frame you are looking at in history, you might find info in Franklin, Elbert or Hart. If you go to usgenweb, you can find GA and look at the counties formation dates. They even have some maps. I found a great site on Ancestry.com and you can probably go there by typing in http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/reference/maps let me know if you have any problems.
