My dead end is two MCALLISTER sisters: Jane Elizabeth MCALLISTER (1832-1868) m. Josephus MAXWELL on 7 Dec 1854 in Elbert Co. After her death Josephus married Leonora Matilda "Kitty" MCALLISTER (1846-1930). Kitty's obituary lists a brother, L. Milton MCALLISTER. The McAllisters were from South Carolina, probably Abbeville Co. Has any MAXWELL researcher tracked down this McALLISTER family? Any help would be appreciated.
