We are trying to locate members of the Frances Gaines family who owned land in 1905 at the corner of Antioch Road and Stinchcomb Church Road. Would also like to hear from anyone who may have information regarding this property. It was owned by Jesse Brown in 1844 and sold by his son, Thomas H. Brown to John G. Deadwyler, after 1864 -- who subsequently sold it to the Frances Gaines family. It is now owned by a Timber Company. We would like to know about any homesites that may have been on the property and whether or not there is a secluded family cemetery on the land. Any information or ideas would be most appreciated.
