Eades, Glenn, Wilhoit/Wilhite, Broach (Jonas Broach of NC line)..Bibb, Key and more...Our Simeon Glenn b. 1789 VA came to Elberton, Elbert Co., GA and some of these Glenns moved into AL and MS later. Clay, Oktibbeha Counties, MS. Wm. Murphy Glenn b. 1820 married Jane Emeline (Vernor) Furr, widow of John Simpson Furr of Monroe Co., MS (near Aberdeen, MS)..Nelson Plantation was the vast amounts of land that was originally owned by Wm. Edmonson Vernor and wife, Eleanor Word Hooper of SC. Hooper, Word, Glenn, Vernor/Varner and more will connect here. (Line of Obadiah Hooper). Furrs of NC to GA...John Simpson Furr died in 1842 Monroe Co., MS. Wm. Murphy Glenn married in January 1847 in Clay Co., MS to Jane E. Vernor Furr...they moved to Okitbbeha Co., MS and on census 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880...still can't locate the burial place of the Wm. M. Glenn and wife, Jane..after 1885 MS Prob. Clay or Oktibbeha..Starkville, MS area...owned land there. Does anyone have connections or relate to an Alice Kirk of Brookville, FL? She was the dau. of Mollie Furr who married a Cooper in Ms (Oktibbeha Co.)...Jane E. Vernor Furr and John Simpson Furr had two children...1) John W. Furr killed in Battle of Atlanta, GA and Mollie/Mary Furr who married a Cooper...dau. Alice Cooper Kirk. Kennedy was the one surname who married one of the daus of Wm. M. Glenn and Jane E.
