As a matter of interest, their second child was named Simeon Henderson Gaines (b. 20 Dec 1824 and d. Dec 1859 in Sceyne, Dallas Co., TX. Are you related to the Henderson family? Also, you state that Simeon Henderson II was the brother of Ann. I have 10 children listed for Simeon Henderson and Nancy _____ Henderson, the eldest being Ann B. who was married to James H. Gaines, but I don't show a Simeon Henderson at all as one of the children. Would love to add him if he is one of the children.
