I'm told by a Martin descendant that a William MARTIN, either the grandson of John J. MARTIN and the son of William MARTIN, - or the first William MARTIN, started a large chicken farm and ultimately a large chicken and food production company in the area. He also eventually owned (I think) a large monument making company. (i.e. headstones, tables, etc. out of granite and quartz. Would anybody be familiar with the names of these companies? Thanks, Janet
