We're trying to find information on the land owned by Bazil Brawner in the early 1800's - at the northeast corner of Antioch Road and Stinchcomb Church Road. We don't have Brawners in our line -- but our Jesse Brown owned the land from sometime in the 1830's until 1864 when it was sold to J. G. Deadwyler, who sold it to Frances Gaines. So far, we haven't been able to find any deed from the Brawners selling this land -- and we're trying to learn how Jesse Brown got it -- as there's no record of his buying it either. We don't know Jesse's parents - and are therefore wondering if he might be related to the Brawners in some way??? Any help or ideas or suggestions will be most appreciated. Thanks so much. Ardie Brown
