    1. [GAELBERT] Hendersons in Elbert Co. in the early 1800's
    2. William B. Baker, Jr.
    3. I'm glad to see some life in the Elbert Co. list. I am still looking for early Hendersons in the county. As best I have been able to determine, there were three Simeon Hendersons in Elbert Co. Ga at about the same time. There seems to be a good bit of information about two of the Simeons but not about my ggggrandfather. My Simeon married Bridget Carroll Heard March 6, 1817 in Elbert Co. Ga. They had at least one son William H. Crawford Henderson, born 1825. Simeon died in Georgia (probably Elbert Co.) and "Bridget moved to Mississippi with her children". The quote would indicate that there was more than one child. I have all kinds of information about her and her family but not Simeon Henderson and his parents.
