I am searching for any information on the family of James M. ANDERSON, born abt. 1797 in GA and married 1) Bathsheba HIGHTOWER 1818 in Elbert Co, GA. Issue: William, Elizabeth, Martha W. m William NORMAN, Jane H. m Ezra JENNINGS, Eliza & Temperance H. (One or both of the Eliza/Elizabeth daughters may have married CRENSHAW men.) The family moved from GA to Autauga Co, AL probably in mid-1820's. Bathsheba was deceased by the mid-1830's. James ANDERSON moved to Lauderdale Co, MS abt. 1835 and married 2) Caron HODGES 1835 in Sumter Co, AL. They had the following children by the 1850 Lauderdale Co, MS census: George W., Sarah, James K. P., Malinda & Robert. William & Martha NORMAN are enumerated on the 1850 Newton Co, MS Census. Jane & Ezra JENNINGS are enumerated on the 1850 Clarke Co, MS Census. William ANDERSON is probably the same who is enumerated on the 1850 Lauderdale Co, MS Census. Temperance is living in her father's 1850 Lauderdale County household. Can anyone locate Elizabeth & Eliza ANDERSON in 1850? I would like to correspond with anyone researching this family. Carol Shrader
