Hello list. Am interested in acquiring a birth record for someone born in Elbert County in 1914. I've been told that the state was not documenting birth records at that time. Does anyone know if this is correct? Is it possible to get a birth record from the state for that year? If not, what would you suggest in terms of documenting this birth? My objective is to establish proof of age for this person, for genealogical reasons. The individual's records during adulthood have been conflicting (partly due to deliberately altering them!)
