My g.g.g.g.grandfather was Samuel SELLERS, R.S. b. Abt. 1744 in Duplin County, NC, d. August 29, 1799 in Effingham County, GA. Samuel married his cousin, Zilpha SELLERS, in Duplin County, May 11, 1767. they had three know children. Samuel served in the NC militia in the Revolutionary War, and a few years after the war moved to Effingham County, GA. Samuel died in Effingham County in 1799, age about 55 years. His will dated August 29, 1794 was probated in that county on May 11, 1799, the widow and children (who by that time had married), moved to Tattnall County, where she died. Samuel and Zilpha three children were: John SELLERS b. Abt. 1770 in Duplin County, NC, married Jane CARTER July 28, 1798 in Bulloch County, GA. moved to Appling County, GA. (my g.g.g.grandparents) Samuel SELLERS b. Abt. 1775 in Duplin County, NC, married Mary BISHOP; moved to Appling County, GA. Penelope SELLERS b. Abt. 1777 in Duplin County, NC, married John STATEN on August 08, 1794. I would like very much to have a copy of Samuel's will that was probated May 11, 1799 in Effingham County and any other information that anyone might have on this family. Your help is greatly appreciated. bp
