An interesting article from the Cuthbert Appeal 23 July 1880 "Mr. S. J. Williams of this city, informs us that a shocking accident occurred near his farm in Early County on last Saturday, which resulted in the almost instant death of Mrs. W. B. Bryan, of Arlington, and the serious injury to Mrs. Gremmer, of Bainbridge--nee Miss Amelia Jones--a sister of Mrs. Bryan. Mrs. Bryan and sister had been on a visit to their father, Judge J. B. Jones, of Blakely, and were returning to Arlington in a double-seated buggy, and when near "Sugar Tit" a sudden jerk of the horse that was hitched to the vehicle, precipitated the ladies upon a hard rocky place in the road, which resulted as stated above." Can anyone on this list tell me the given name of Mrs. Bryan? Also was Mrs Gremmer's name Amelia Jones as in the article or Adelia Jones? I am not a direct descent of this line, but am a descendant of John Thomas Briant Jones who was a brother to Judge J B Jones' father Josiah Jones. Thanks. Lindy
