    3. I visited the Confederate Section of the Old Lynchburg Cemetery this past Friday and found the graves of two members of the Early Guards (Co G, 13th GA Infantry). They both rest in the shade of a large Sugar Maple that was in it's finest autumn splendor. It was dressed in gorgeous reds, oranges and yellows. It is a beautiful and restful spot these two fellows have. They are: Forrest, William - Private, Died in Virginia in 1865. Buried in Confederate Cemetery at Lynchburg, Va. on May 1, 1865 - Lot 202, Row No. 6, 3rd Line - Ladies' Relief Hospital. Griffin, Nathan- Private, June 4, 1862. Wounded at Spotsylvania, Va. May 12, 1864 - Died of wounds in General Hospital #2, Lynchburg, Va. on June 7, 1864 . Buried there in Confederate Cemetery, Lot 201, Row No. 8, 5th Line. I hope this provides a bit of information for someone! Edward P.
