Hi, my name is Deborah. I am new to this website am not quite sure what the "lookups" are all about. I live in New Jersey. I am doing research on my ancestors whose surname is Bush. They were all born in Colquitt, Miller Co., Georgia. Below is an e-mail I sent to Debra Boswell. Maybe you can also help me. ____________________________________ My name is Deborah also. I am interested in researching some of my ancestors via census records. I found a really interesting web site that can send me copies of the census pages, but I need additional information. My great-grandfather's name was Dan Bush. He was born in Colquitt, Miller County, Georgia. Some of his children were John Durell Bush, Booker Bush, Ethel Bush, Inez Bush and Maybell Bush who were also born in Miller County. I believe my great-grandfather's wife's name was Gertrude Bush I am interested in census records for the following years: 1880, 1910, and 1920. For 1880, the National Archives Series # is T9, Roll 158 For 1910, the National Archives Series # is T624, Roll 201 For 1920, the National Archives Series # is T625, Roll 268 In order to purchase top quality, "Heirloom Prints," I need to know the Page number and E.D # (enumeration district) for each of the above years. Do you have access to the above census records and if so, can you see me copies? HELP ME PLEEZ! An aspiring genealogist, Deborah P.S. I would also like to know where I can search for some sort of marriage index for Miller County. Any suggestions? Seems as if my entire family "settled" in Colquitt, and still, to this day, remain there. Where can I get a hold of "The History of Miller County (1856-1980). Is it a book or a website? I really need it!! CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO SEARCH FOR THE MILLER COUNTY DEATH INDEX?
