Haven't read all the posts about boundaries , and I don't know if your are interested in this. I have a note around here somewhere that says that Georgia used to go further west. Maybe to Mississippi. If you want I will try to find it. The list had some GLASS' on it. That's why I copied it. The GLASS' , on this list were indians I believe. One, if I remember correctly had an indian name. I am new on the list so I will list the names I am researching: Clark, Burgess, Cannon, Cooper, Cribbs, Douglas, Faircloth/McCormick, Glass, Hampton, Hancock, Herndon, Lowe (north Florida), Mercer, Miller , Musselwhite, Pyle/Pyles Pile/Piles , Robertson, Sapp, Smith (north Florida). My Dad was born in Thomas Co., Ga. in 1913.
