    3. Robert, I spoke with the Billy Garrett family and his Grandaughter, Becky, was supposed to email you from S.C. I had copied off what info you had sent and gave it to her. I noticed in ancestry.com.........that Bruce Temples and his sister, Mary were emailing someone and said they had Cherokee Indian Roots........Have you heard this before? I quote "Larkin Temples was a full blooded Cherokee and was born about 1809 and died about 1866. He married Susie Clarke who was half Cherokee. Larkin was born in N.C. and moved to Pickens Co.,Ga when the Cherokees were rounded up and moved to oklahoma in 1838 or 39. His known issue are Patrick Temples who married mary Ann Stephens and Amanda Wayne Temples who married James Martin Stanfield. Larkin's father, Martin, and gf George were taken to Oklahoma." This was apparently sent to Bruce Temples from Jerome Tew......on Jan. 5, 2000 Joan Herndon in Early County, Ga.
