Joyce Temple Barnet, author of "Temple People" and my wife and I are trying to document the descendants of the Prince George County Virginia Temple's. Our research suspects that after the Revolutionary War many of these families migrated to TN, NC, SC, GA, & KY. We have a Frederick Temple c. 1720 with three sons, Frederick, James, and John in Anson Co., NC prior to the war. We are now focusing on the Virginia and north Carolina lines from 1690-1800 to find founders of these lines. Of particular interest are Jesse, John, Jones, Jacob, Frederick, and James that move to Georgia from 1780-1810. The multiple combinations of these names in all families over several generations has made separating them difficult, not to mention a war or two destroying court houses! Your help is needed.
