Carol: My CANNON lineage starts with Archibald CANNON, son of John and "Sary" (?) CANNON of North Carolina. Archibald was born about 1745 in Pitt County, NC. He married Mary JORDAN abt. 1775 in NC and eight children were born. I show the purchased 200 acres in Bulloch county, GA January 20, 1818. The Will of Archibald was dated Nov. 14, 1819 and filed May 1, 1920. None of his children were named Wiley CANNON and I do not have a file on any of the CANNON's that may have lived in Early County, GA. You did not give a date in your query but Bulloch County might be a place to check after the early 1800's. Have a good day.
