Ms. McMullen was born in Early County on October 13, 1914. She was a homemaker and a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Jakin. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Shane Curtis and Dr. Johnny Roberts officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Steve McMullen, Gregg McMullen, Johnny Ray Shirley, Alan Frith, Robbie Tester and Duane McMullen. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Walker, Hunter Evans, Andy Stewart, Mike Hardin, James Chasteen and Chris Byrd. Survivors include four sons, Ray G. McMullen; Crandle, James William McMullen and Tommy McMullen; both of Dalton, and Johnny McMullen of Donalsonville; five daughters, sara Helms, Linda Gee and Diane Tester, all of Dalton, Virginia Frith and Hilda Frazier, both of Donalsonville; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchild and two great-great grandchildren. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
