Does anyone have an 1830 Early census or even an index of that census that would check for a Josiah Page for me (would have been about 25 years old)? I know he was married there in 1837 (age 32), but by 1840 he was in Randolph. It would sure help me track the family movements if I knew about what time he got to Early. Thanks.

Blakely, GA 31723, Edited by Mary Grist Whitehead. On page 255, under Courthouse Records, "Marks_Brands" Clerk's Office, 1822-1831.* *This book contains Marks and Brands recorded through the year 1848, although the title states 1822-1831. Since no stock laws were in existence at this time, a livestock owner found it expedient to record his brand or mark at the courthouse. The verbal descriptionsare ofter illustrated with a drawing. The original is on file at the Clerk's Office, Early County Courthouse. Name Date Page No. Page, Josiah 1-2-1838 41 Hope this helps. Marilyn Smith
