Patricia, I don't know about Early Co. but in researching my husband's family in Fannin Co., Ga, I was looking through the Inferior Court Records and found several "Bastardy Bonds" although they were not listed as such. I was browsing through the index and found his gg-grandmother's name so I flipped over to the page indicated and began to read. There were $750.00 bonds posted for each of her two daughters and were to remain in place until they reached the age of 14. You might try looking in the Inferior Court Records. Ida
