Dear Researchers: I am looking descendants and information on families of Frederick Temples that arrived in Montgomery Co, GA in the 1805 land lottery. This father and son group were there for a few years and then the son moved on the Early Co around 1825. The son moved first and his father later joined him later. We believe they both died there. We are looking for copies of Frederick Temples will 1829 (b. 1758 in Anson Co, NC). There has been confusion between identifying the Frederick's of that time period. In 1820 census there is one in Jasper Co.,GA, two are in Montgomery Co., GA, and one is in Emanuel Co., GA. The one in Jasper, we believe is the son of Jones (d. c. 1821). The two in Montgomery, we are almost certain are the father and son from Anson Co., NC. The one in Emanuel, appear to possibly be a Frederick b. 1790 in VA(not verified). Clues or assistance in identifying will be very appreciated. Joyce Temple Barnet and myself are trying to trace these lines back to NC & VA. With the distruction of so many records during the wars, we have had to relie on church, family, land, and pension records when available. We look forward to contacting other researchers of these lines.....and yes we do share! Robert Temples Lynnwood, Washington
