    3. Yes, there is a Sardis Cemetery in Early County, but I have to have names.......This list is all names and then the cemetery is numbered by their name to fit the cemetery----like say Smith, R. would have a 4 by it if it was in the Blakely Cemetery.......and another number for Sardis cemetery like 36 is Sardis Methodist Cemetery and 35 is just Sardis Cemetery.......Joan Herndon in Early County, Ga. hherndon@alltel.net

    1. Re: [GAEARLY-L] ATTN: Joan Herndon
    2. Hello again Joan, Thank you for your prompt response and assistance. I have several census records, the farthest I have so far, is 1880 for Blakely, GA (Early County) - there was a family - IGLES, (Cely, John, Campbell, Delia and Lona). I also have census records for 1900, listing 4 separate households with families named IGLE. For 1910, I have records with 5 more separate households with the family name IGLES. All of these records are for Blakely, GA. I also have one record for 1910, Thomasville Thomas County, GA., listing a John IGLE. I am trying to locate my grandfather's parents, but I do not know their names. My grandfather was named James Igle, born between 1894 and 1898. I don't have an exact date or location unfortunately. If you run across "anything" that could be helpful to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Paulette

    1. Re: [GAEARLY-L] Scarborough
    2. Joan, I'm related to Louise Scarborough. She is my grandmother's sister. She is a Hay of Randolph Co. As a child we spent many pleasant weeks in Blakely, picking blackberries and helping out on their farm. I guess just reading all this Early Co. news, brought back all the great memories I had. Donna

    1. [GAEARLY-L] "Tiner" info
    2. Tammy, None of your names sound familiar to me. Mrs. Minnie Tiner is my gguncles daughter, she lives in Blakely, Ga. She was a Johnson before she married, Mr. Keaton Tiner. I have a Baker County History Book and his family is listed there, if you would like for me to look up something for you. I also have the Early County History Books (vol. 1 and 2) and the Early Joe book, (thanks to my friend Joan). I am searching the Johnson family, the Haire/Hare Family, and the Widner family. If those names sound familiar PLEASE let me know. Glad to help if I can. Jackie Hughey Smith
