Would love to have your information. I went to Chester, Dodge County and Bleckley County Saturday past. I have pictures of the Rowland cemetery. What I am having trouble with is connecting my Great Grandfather James Lawson b1871. He married Elizabeth McCant. They are buried outside of Tifton, Tift County GA. They came from Chester, along with his Children. My grandfather had brothers and sister that were in or around Tift County. I guess you have seen both spellings of Rowland/Roland. On James Lawson's Death Certificate it says his father was Perry Rowland and mother Mary Sermons. I just can't find how they are connected. The names are all there! The dates don't match!! My Daddy- Jerry Monroe Rowland remembers going to the cemetery(Chester) when he was little with his daddy Monroe Rowland. I would appreciate any help if possible!
