This is because each descends from a daugther of Asa Harrell and his wife Elizabeth Keen...(Mary and Catherine) It goes something like this: Mary Harrell b. abt 1821 m. Jacob David Clements on Jul 31 1842. Armindia Clements m. Chapman Boutwell on Mar 26 1873 Jack Boutwell m. Margaret Mullis John William b. 1901 D. 1974 m. Katie Lord The other side: Catherine Harrell b. 1831 d. 1901 m. Cordial Daniel Parkerson b. 1829 d. 1898 on May 15, 1851. Mary Ann Parkerson m. Benjamin Abrham Giddens on Mar 12, 1875. Gussie Louise Giddens m. Ben F. Lord Katie Lord m. John William Boutwell That's a pretty neat twist in the tree.. I have several in mine.. My parents were 4th cousins once removed... . This makes both Katie and John my 4th cousins once remove on my father side and 4th cousins twice removed on my mothers... Let me know if you need any more info.. Ive typed quite a bit about the Giddens into my tree.. Also noticed the Mullis' name alot......Still trying to find something on Ben F. Lord.....Already have tons of Clements info.....
