Surnames: Thompson-Hall Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ya.2ADI/123.124.1 Message Board Post: I have found a John C Thompson on the 1880 census that I belive could be the father of William Loftus Thompson b.1870 in Dodge County. the census shows William living with his aunt and uncle- Susan and William Stripling, but only a few doors down lived John Thompson and his wife Rachael Hall. They married 8/19/1860. There is a "gap", so to speak, of children born from 1866 to 1871. I really think that William could be the missing child..... Can any one help ?
