What a coincidence - I was looking for information on my Quillin/Quillen side of the family. But, I also seem to have some connections to your surnames. On 15 Sept 1865 James Monroe Quillin married Sarah Jane Newman/Nunam in Benton Co., TN. Their daughter, Julia Quillin than married her cousin James Sylvester Newman on 27 Feb 1887 in Lake Co., TN. I know the Nunam/Newmans came from NC, settling in TN and I believe the Quillens came from Ireland by way of VA and also settled in TN, KY and MS. Must be related to the Quillins & Newmans in GA. Could you give me your ancesty? Will be glad to exchange information.
