Cason, b. May 1867 age 33 1910 havent found yet 1920 in Coffee Co.: Wherry W. Cason age 52 We've all seen how names git turned around and changed on the censuses.. Maybe Warren w is Warren Wherry?? There wa a Wherry Cason in jefferson Co, GA in 1840. His age was 60 to 70 with only other person in household a female age 30 to 40... Then there's another Wherry Cason in Florida on 1850 census age 5....(his father and mother were born in GA) Anyway that was just a thought?? wmharrell

You can still make out what it says though.. 1880 GA Census, Wilcox Co Mary A. Cason age 39, Head and Susan M. age 10, dau Several things to note about this one. There is no Sarah who should be age 17 (probably mar'd) There is no Thomas who should be age 15 The last child is now Thos. H. A. age 9. On the 1870 census the youngest child was Thermont ( I thought it was Therman) age 4/12. This now goes with Susan having a younger brother named Thomas.. But in 1870 Thomas was an older br0other and her youngest brothewr was Thermont???? Also check out column 15 about being sick or disabled... Bill

I forgot to attach the Census to that last one.. But it's not working anyway; so I'll wait and try to attach it tonight.. The 1880 census has a column for "is person sick or temp disabled so as to be unable to attend to ordinary business or duties" And for Warren W Cason, age 18, laborer, it has "Chills and fever" So maybe Warren was a sickly fellow and died young????? Was also thinking that if Mary A Cason was Head of House on both the 1870 and 1880 Censuses; then whatever happened to her husband had to have happened before 1870.. In Smallwoods "Burch, Harrell, etc " books she has Warren Caison (with an " i ") mar'd Polly Parkerson.... This might be so as first son named Warren.. Or maybe her husband's name was "Warren Thomas"; hence one son Warren and one Thomas??? Anyway enough to think about already!!!!! wmharrell
