John Rycroft believed to have been the son of Una Rycroft and father unknown. Was Una's name MAry Ann Una Rycroft? Was she the daughter of Catherine Dowdy and Thomas Rycroft? John Rycroft was born in Mar. of 1870 and was four months old at the time of the 1870 census in Pulaski Co. He was in his mother’s home 1870 & 1880. If her name was Mary Rycroft. John Rycroft married Sophia Rogers in 1898 in Dodge Co. They were livingt in Telfair Co. in 1900 and Sophia stated that she was born in Nov.of 1878. John and Sophia had one child at the time of the 1900 census. 1. Sally Rycroft born in Feb. of 1899. Can anybody help with this line? Does anyone know the father of John Rycroft?
