This is my first time to see this child with this family. Can any Studstill researchers comment on this? Thanks, Emma Nora Ann Nease was born Mar. 10, 1871 and died Feb. 10, 1874. Her obituary in the Southern Christian Advocate states that she was the daughter of George Troup Studstill and his wife Sarah Jane.
Hi all, Someone wanted photos of Dodge County for a book? I have some Eastman photos of Dr. John Benjamin Clark and family. Also the 1924 yearbook of Eastman High school as well as some other photos. My Grandfather's first cousin Mary C. Clark who died in 1994, was born in Eastman, her mother was from Virginia, Annie Maude Harwell. One of the photos I have is a wonderful one in particular, it is a photo of Dr. John B. Clark and some other men in front of Dr. Clark's drug stoe. Three of the other men are Charlie Armstrong, John Daniel Nash(Dr. Clark's brother-in-law) and H. Lane Donaldson. Please e-mailme or reply to the list if you are interested in seeing the photos I would be glad to let them be used for any Dodge history book. :) God bless, Beth

Bartow and Sarah "Amelia" Perry Parkerson are married and are distant cousins through the Parkersons and the Faircloths. Thought you might find that interesting. I see Amelia and Bartow every summer at the Dorsey Family Reunion in Georgia. Usually it is at Jekyll Island, but this year it is at Calloway Gardens in early July. Amelia Parkerson married James Edwin Augustus Darsey and they are connected to the Faircloths - all settled in Wilcox County, but were originally from Laurens - the Dexter area, and prior to that, North Carolina and Virginia and Maryland. Jump, who was the brother of Rueal A. Jump (married to Mary Alice Scarborough). Their parents were Rueal A. Jump and Nancy Daniels. I believe there were about 6 children of Rueal and Nancy in all. We have been trying to locate any relatives of Joel to find out the names of his other children. Joel was married to a Mary Jones we believe. One of their children was Ronald Clarence Jump, who is my husband's father. We have been trying to locate him since Joel passed away in GA in 1986. My email is [email protected] . My phone number is 813-476-7237. Thanks. Catherine Jump
I too will look forward to see it when completed. I hope that it will contain a lot of the history of the Cottondale area as well as the older part of the town itself.
